We are seeking a skilled Clinical Data Specialist to support our activities related to coding of clinical data for ongoing studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately code medical terms and medications using industry-wide standards (MedDRA, WHO Drug) and company guidelines.
- Coordinate the assignment of appropriate dictionaries for meeting study requirements.
- Develop and maintain coding protocols.
- Review and provide input to the Coding section of the Data Management Plan.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in pharmacy, life sciences, or related field, or medical/nursing qualification with 2 years relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Dictionaries used for coding (e.g., MedDRA, WHODD).
- Experience working with clinical trials or within the pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
- Ability to work flexibly on simultaneous projects and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position involves working in a global team environment and requires excellent organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
