Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute construction category sourcing strategies across different supply chain tiers (General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, OEMs) and geographies across LATAM.">
• Take responsibility for increasing our competitiveness and maintaining continuity of supply and mitigating risks across geographical and business unit boundaries, defining opportunities to suit our particular needs.">
• Focus on deep diving construction categories and regions to add value to the overall procurement process by identifying synergies, benchmarking, innovation, eliminating waste, and identifying economies of scale, thus increasing our competitive advantage.">
• Drive cost optimization through negotiation, standardization, value engineering, and supply chain improvements.">
• Build effective internal and external relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and partners that enables effective collaborative working and a positive and productive working environment.">

Requirements:

We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional with experience in construction procurement, contract management, and/or commercial management. You should have a strong understanding of the construction industry contracts and procurement processes. Experience in negotiating various types of large-scale construction contracts is also essential.

You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage complex relationship interfaces. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required. A degree qualified in a relevant construction-related discipline, such as engineering, construction management, civil engineering, architecture, project management, or quantity surveying, is also necessary.
