AML Analyst

KTO Group is a dynamic and innovative company revolutionizing the online gaming experience. Our mission is to enhance transparency and player satisfaction in Sportsbook and Online Casino gaming.

We are seeking an experienced AML Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AML regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

About the Role
  • Monitor and analyse transactions to detect and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes.
  • Communicate with customers through various channels, including outbound phone calls, to gather information and provide guidance on AML-related issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers, evaluating factors such as transaction history, account behaviour, and geographic location to identify potential money laundering risks.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Transaction Monitoring: Utilize KTO's in-house monitoring systems to review player transactions, identifying and investigating unusual or suspicious activity that may indicate money laundering or other financial crimes.
  2. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers through various channels, including outbound phone calls, emails, and live chats, to verify transactions, gather additional information, and understand the context of suspicious activity.
  3. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments on new and existing customers, evaluating factors such as transaction history, account behaviour, and geographic location to identify potential money laundering risks.
  4. Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs): Prepare and submit SARs to the relevant authorities and internal stakeholders in a timely manner, ensuring all required details are accurately documented.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all investigations, communications, and decisions made, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree (or studies in progress) in finance, Law, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in a similar AML role within the online gambling or financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns indicative of money laundering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions, including making outbound phone calls.
  • Familiarity with AML regulations, including knowledge of relevant laws and reporting requirements.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
