Operations Business Analyst Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business success through strategic analysis, process improvement, and effective stakeholder management.

About the Role:

  1. Support business initiatives by analyzing requirements, identifying solutions, and developing recommendations for process improvements.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end business analysis projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate documentation of workflows, including 'as is' and 'to be' changes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  4. Ensure efficient testing and verification of changes, escalating issues as necessary to ensure governance and risk management.
  5. Provide expertise and knowledge in business areas required for projects and the team.
  6. Leverage planning, documentation, presentation, and training skills to drive successful project outcomes.
  7. Establish clear project plans in consultation with stakeholders and lead efforts to bring stakeholders together for successful outcomes.
  8. Ensure accurate, timely, and regular reporting of project status with clear explanations of risks and issues.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in payment business analysis, preferably with SEPA, Direct Debits, or SWIFT.
  2. Solid experience in delivering processing improvements and leading projects as a lead SME/functional specialist.
  3. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Alteryx, as well as strong technical skills.
  4. Educated to at least GCSE Grade C level or equivalent in Maths & English, with A Level education or equivalent preferred.
