Our company seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain automated test scripts for embedded software platforms.
- This challenging role requires a talented individual who can work with developers, systems engineers and validation teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria;
- Execute test cases in SIL, HIL and VIL environments and analyze results to identify defects;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to test framework enhancements;
- Document test plans, procedures and results in compliance with internal quality standards;
- Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts for embedded software platforms;
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers and validation teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria;
- Execute test cases in SIL, HIL and VIL environments and analyze results to identify defects;
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with automated test integration;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field;
- Advanced English: broad vocabulary, good grammar, conducts meetings, argues, negotiates and provides training;
- Software scripting knowledge;
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
- Experience in embedded software testing or automation;
- Understanding of CAN/Ethernet protocols and embedded systems basics;
- Familiarity with Python, Jenkins, GitHub and test automation frameworks;
- Experience with ECU-Test, Selenium or similar tools;
- ISTQB certification or equivalent;
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity;
- Exposure to RTOS, microcontrollers and automotive/off-highway software environments;
The ideal candidate will have experience working with embedded systems, testing methodologies and agile development practices. Additionally, proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java is highly desirable.
