As a German Game Tester, you will be an integral part of our Localization Quality Assurance team, being among the first to experience the fully localized game, including translated text, visuals, and the overall user interface. Your role will allow you to engage with the project as the end users will, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate within a diverse project team comprised of international colleagues as a German Game Tester. Identify and rectify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other linguistic errors. Ensure compliance with console manufacturer standards. Document errors and issues encountered, providing constructive feedback for enhancements. Verify the contextual accuracy of translations and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery. Detect missing or incorrect content, ensuring proper display formats for dates, calendars, and characters. Compile reports on discovered errors and bugs, along with ad hoc translations. Maintain high-quality standards in your work, fostering collaboration and contributing to the success of projects.Our Localization QA team conducts language assessments on a variety of unreleased games across multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and various mobile devices. As a German Game Tester, you will have the opportunity to work on prestigious gaming titles for leading publishers worldwide.
Qualifications:
Fluency in the target language and English. Strong cultural insight into the language you are applying for. Proficient in computer applications, especially Excel. Robust internet research capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Prior experience with various software, applications, and websites. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within project teams. Proof of Right to Work in the country of application may be required. Possession of a mobile or tablet device with at least Android 9 or iOS 15 or newer.Studio Work Criteria:
Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the studio. Willingness to work on-site as required.Additional Information:
