Job Title: German Game Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled German Game Tester to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a German Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized games for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and correct language errors, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes.
  • Ensure console manufacturer guidelines are adhered to.
  • Log details of errors/issues found and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Verify the accuracy of translation within context and consistency of terminology and imagery.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality of localized games.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality localized games.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the German language and culture.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
