Job Overview

This position supports our company's strategy announced in 2021. The regulatory affairs function aims to effectively predict, manage, and mitigate regulatory requirements, making it an essential component in enabling this strategy.

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge in compliance, regulatory affairs, design, and certification of vehicles, components, and consumer products.
  • The incumbent will be adept at working cross-functionally with teams from international Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Legal, and Government Affairs.
  • Has keen interest on trade issues, consumer protection laws, product labelling, safety, and other government regulations.
  • Ability to solve problems by analyzing solutions using technical expertise, research, and judgement.

Provides informal support to others in the planning of in-market compliance-related activities.

Communicates effectively with stakeholders through the exchange of information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.

Responsibilities

Supports both importer of record and dealer/distributor markets and requires coordination with global regulatory and other functional teams to support regulatory needs.

Works directly alongside colleagues covering Asia Pacific growth markets but with frequent interactions and support of colleagues stationed globally.

Has a keen interest in trade issues, consumer protection laws, product labelling, safety, and other government regulations.

Key Responsibilities Include:
