This role seeks a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, capable of navigating complex regulatory environments. You will collaborate with a dynamic team focused on delivering key regulatory insights.
Main Responsibilities:- Build and maintain relationships between UBS and local regulators to ensure effective supervisory interactions and responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Communicate with global Regulatory Affairs teams and local UBS managers to ensure consistent approaches to regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with senior management on regulatory interactions, providing strategic guidance on communication approaches and business operations.
- Maintain oversight of remedial actions and provide strategic direction for supervisory reviews.
You will join the Governmental and Regulatory Affairs team in São Paulo, Brazil, serving as the interface between UBS and its key supervisors. This role offers exposure to a network of specialists, senior professionals, and management across UBS.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar area (e.g., legal, regulatory compliance, or risk).
- A solid understanding of the financial sector regulatory landscape and developments.
- Familiarity with Wealth Management and Investment principles.
