About the Role

The Investigator Contracts Lead plays a vital part in overseeing contract and budget negotiations with clinical investigator sites. This encompasses initial agreements, amendments, and supervision of other contracting professionals on assigned studies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Balance risks against potential impacts to Sponsor trial timelines with sound judgment.\
  • Negotiate and execute global clinical study agreements with institutions and investigators participating in sponsored clinical trials.\
  • Collaborate with partners to oversee the global site budget process.\
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with investigators/institutions.\
  • Lead relationships with key investigational sites and Site Management Organizations across the contracting and budgeting interface.\
  • Partner with Legal and other divisions to manage escalations in the site budgeting and contracting space.\
  • Identify areas for improvement in site contracting.\

Key Requirements:

\
  • \
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical development operations or clinical trial outsourcing.\
  • Bachelor's degree.\
  • Experience with clinical study budgets and contracting negotiation principles.\
  • A balance of general business, compliance, finance, legal, and drug development experience.\
  • Precise communication and presentation skills.\
  • Ability to plan, identify, and mitigate risks to site contacting timelines.\

Preferred Qualifications:

  • \
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical development operations or clinical trial outsourcing.\
  • US Juris Doctorate or equivalent legal degree.\
  • Experience in drafting and negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements.\
