MECHANICAL PLUMBING BIM SPECIALIST OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking a highly skilled BIM Specialist to enhance our team's capabilities.

  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional English language proficiency and expertise in modeling HVAC and plumbing systems for various commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction projects using Revit software.
  • A minimum of five years' experience with Revit is required, including extensive knowledge of process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters, and hangers.

The selected candidate will also possess strong skills in coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks and demonstrate a thorough understanding of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy.

A bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering is essential; architects may be considered if they have significant experience in modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of BIM add-ins such as Evolve, SysQue, and Fabrication Parts, along with experience working with Level Of Detail (LOD) 400 and projects based in the US or possessing constructability knowledge related to that country.

Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Dynamo/Python applied to BIM is highly desirable. On-site/field experience and the ability to produce detailed models incorporating real-world fittings and connection types are crucial.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and offer flexibility with regard to working hours.
