Job Overview

Boeing Brazil is on the lookout for an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer who possesses a solid understanding of stress analysis techniques, engineering fundamentals, and strong coordination abilities. This role will report to the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager and will be based in the São José dos Campos office.

The Associate Structural Analysis Engineer will become a vital member of the BR&T team, focusing on the development and support of both primary and secondary structures for the X-66 project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental structural analysis utilizing established analytical tools to assess the structural environment, characteristics, and performance.
  • Assist in product design and validate the structural integrity of components by employing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and various analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality, and performance.
  • Engage with customers and other stakeholders to comprehend and facilitate structural solutions.
  • Operate under general supervision.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the specified location.

Employment Eligibility:

Candidates must have existing rights to work in Brazil.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). This applies to Brazilian recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers if the employer is willing to sponsor a visa.
  • Relevant experience in Structural Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with structural analysis techniques and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems (pylon, nacelle, reverse).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and compensation are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
