About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team at Crossell. As a key member of our deal team, you will be responsible for credit and surety underwriting, and will play a critical role in our company's success.

About the Team

Our Credit Product Centre is a globally distributed team that reports directly to the Global Head of Credit & Surety (C&S) Corporate Solutions. We are responsible for providing credit risk-based insurance solutions to banks and corporates in the areas of trade, commodity, and project finance, surety, political risk insurance, and trade credit insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead key C&S CorSo strategic initiatives in the area of risk assessment and insights.
  • Provide high-quality, fundamental corporate obligor and transaction credit risk assessments in support of the C&S unit's diverse credit-related underwriting activities.
  • Conduct forward-looking sector and credit market analyses and feasibility studies.
  • Underwrite policy and ensure overall compliance with unit, divisional, and Swiss Re Group standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of methods and tools used to support transaction pricing.
  • Ensure proper monitoring and oversight of the in-force Credit & Surety portfolio.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in financial analysis and risk management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in financial/credit analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent cases and decisions with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in multinational teams and managing large workloads and tight deadlines.
  • Good understanding of data analytics and ability to interact within an international team.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and strong command of Portuguese.
