Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers. This is an opportunity to join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work.

This role offers a chance to work on large, complex systems, collaborate with leading startups and Fortune 500 companies, and contribute to the delivery of applications through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Linux container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Leverage public and private clouds: GCP or AWS, with a focus on cloud orchestration frameworks (Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Design and implement secure, high-performance networks using TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with distributed message buses such as Kafka, Confluent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of software development lifecycle including git-based CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
  • Strong experience working with Linux systems and related tooling (kernel, shell, system libraries, file systems).
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
