About the Role

At Siemens Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Integrity Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the mechanical integrity analyses of our TurboCracker product and contributing to the development of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis of turbomachinery components and systems from concept definition through detailed design.
  • Lead/support design reviews as required and contribute to the development of MI related practices, processes, and tools.
  • Support turbomachinery testing and data analysis.
  • Actively contribute to small, focused design teams to support technology and product development project objectives.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • 5+ years' experience in turbomachinery mechanical integrity analysis (gas turbines and/or compressors).
  • Expert knowledge of commercial analytical software packages ANSYS or ABAQUS.
  • Experience with product design and API design standards for compressors, gas turbines, and expanders.
