Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned software leader to drive the development of AI-first applications and oversee our global engineering team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines architecture oversight, coding, and agile team management. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and leading an offshore engineering team to deliver enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead an offshore engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Data Science, to develop AI-native applications.
  • Engineering Excellence: Establish best practices in CI/CD, test automation, code quality, and cloud-native deployments.
  • Architectural Decisions: Drive strategic decisions on microservices, APIs, security, and scalability.
  • Cost Efficiency: Ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining high quality and reliability.
  • Hands-on Leadership: Act as a hands-on leader, including coding, reviewing, and mentoring team members.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years leading offshore teams.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Ai/Ml-Enabled Applications: Expertise in developing AI/ML-enabled applications and API-first architectures.
  • Cloud Tech Stacks: Proficient in modern cloud tech stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Ability to translate complex ML concepts into business outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
Working Conditions:
  • Remote Work: Full-time remote/telework arrangement.
  • Computer-Based Work: Primarily computer-based work.
  • Ocasional Travel: Occasional travel for leadership meetings and team planning.
