Job Overview:

An Industrial Engineer II will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing integrated production systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the production site.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • As part of our project team, you will contribute to projects aimed at eliminating waste through standard industrial engineering processes.
  • You will develop time standards for process steps in our Product-Process-Time database.
  • Gather and analyze industrial engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas.
  • Coordinate layout and facility moves for assigned customers or areas.
  • Collect, analyze, and review IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standardized processes.
  • Monitor SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations and ensure compliance.
  • Gather and develop data for quotes.

  • Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.
  • Support and/or maintain lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site, aligning with global, regional, and site direction.
  • Support Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity for process improvement.

  • A deep understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools.
  • An understanding of our global strategies and direction.
  • An understanding of site facilities, capabilities, and their connection to our strategies and direction.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in successful change management, continuous improvements, and cost reduction programs.
  • Strong communication skills.

Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is required.
