Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence specialist to join our team.

Job Description

  • Design, develop and support Business Intelligence environments Data Warehouse;
  • Develops or modifies data models, ETL processes, and BI tool solutions (Python);
  • Design, build, and deploy reports utilizing the appropriate BI tools (Tableau);
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for all development and modification;
  • Provide estimates for BI solutions to be developed;
  • Follow Data Management processes and procedures and provide input to the creation of data definitions, business rules and data access methods;
  • Collaborate with database administrators on database design, data mart structure and the technical architecture of the data delivery environment;
  • Interact with the business areas and production units to understand all data requirements to develop business insights and translates them into data structures and data model requirements;
  • Work directly with Product Owners and customers to deliver data products in a collaborative and agile environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Development experience utilizing Business Intelligence tools such as Python, Power BI, SSIS, Airflow or similar tools;
  • Experience Designing and building data universes;
  • Ability to interact with clients on project deliverables, technical discussions, time estimates, and overall technical and strategic directions;
  • Ability to manage multiple BI development projects to ensure all deliverables are met;
  • Ability to develop new databases;
  • Experience in generating reports from various database platforms, including SQL Server and Oracle is required;
  • Strong SQL writing and comprehension is required;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience in building, tuning and deploying new reports and portals;
  • Must be proficient in unit testing of developed BI artifacts;
  • Big Data tools experience a plus;
  • SAP HANA experience a plus.
