We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our international team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead the development of a best-in-class procurement infrastructure for a global remote work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in procuring software and hardware for large-scale organizations. They will be responsible for leading high-value procurements, developing global procurement strategies, sourcing reliable suppliers, and managing relationships with current suppliers.

This role reports to the Director of Infrastructure and requires strong negotiation skills, financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities. The successful candidate will also have experience in project management and a BSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Logistics or Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and manage the list of software and hardware managed by the company
  • Lead and conduct high-value, detailed, and complex procurements
  • Develop global procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
  • Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services
