Senior Automation Tester

We're seeking a skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our team. In this role, you'll work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

You'll be responsible for testing software systems, reviewing and analyzing documentation, specifications, and understanding business requirements.

  • You'll investigate, analyze, and write tests for reported defects.
  • You'll implement best practices for test automation to optimize test execution efficiency.
  • You'll contribute to test planning and strategy, collaborating with QA and development teams to define test objectives, scope, and schedules.
  • You'll provide input on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to automated testing.
  • You'll provide active guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You should have 5+ years of experience in automated testing methods and frameworks.
  • You should have strong knowledge in Java 17 features, Spring, REST Services, Swagger/Open API, Resilience4j of Circuit Breaker, SSL connectivity.
  • You should have experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for test automation implementation.
  • You should be experienced in developing User Story scenarios and writing Acceptance Criteria.
  • You should have database experience with Cassandra and PostgreSQL.
  • You should have proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing).
  • You should have strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to details.
  • You should have proficiency in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results.
  • You should be familiar with bug tracking systems and have experience in defect identification, reporting, and tracking.
  • You should have ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications.
