Senior Avionics Systems Manager

A leading Avionics Expert is needed to manage the development, validation, verification, integration, and certification of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, team leadership, and technical expertise in electrical engineering.
The selected individual will be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of multiple projects simultaneously. They must maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project requirements and continuously develop and improve existing processes.
Key responsibilities include managing a team of engineers, partnering with suppliers, coordinating with international teams, acquiring resources, and developing relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, testing, and certification of Integrated Modular Avionics Systems.
- Develop and execute project plans, implement policies, and set operational goals.
- Partner with global suppliers to establish project timelines and manage team execution.
- Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project requirements.
- Continuously improve the Avionics Function through process enhancements and innovations.
- Manage employees performing engineering and technical tasks within BCA Airplane Systems.
- Coordinate engagement with BCA engineering counterparts located at USA sites.
- Acquire necessary resources, including budget and staffing, for projects and processes.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
