Job Description

The Skate Program Supervisor is a pivotal role that oversees all skate programming, including group lessons, camps/clinics, teams, and additional options. The ideal candidate will create an exceptional skating experience for participants, instructors, officials, and spectators across all offerings.

This position requires strong leadership skills to manage the program's registration process, training, workflow structure, and instructor development. The Skate Program Supervisor must foster a positive and inclusive skating community by building relationships with skaters, families, and local skating organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Align with company values and execute all aspects of the skate program
  • Provide effective training, workflow structure, and leadership for the skate program
  • Manage all aspects of the program/camp registration process
  • Create efficient purchasing/registration experience for program participants
  • Develop class structures and schedules that support skater progression and retention
  • Recruit, train, and mentor instructors to deliver high-quality instruction and guest service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with skaters, families, and local skating organizations
  • Monitor program performance, enrollment trends, and participant feedback to assess effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Oversee the organization and execution of shows, exhibitions, and competitions showcasing skater development and promoting the program
Requirements
  • 3-5 years in skate program management or related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of figure skating levels and requirements
  • Membership in good standing with ISI and/or USFS
  • Knowledge of recreational/facility management software programs
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours
