Job Overview

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the regulatory integrity of international shipments.


Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-shipment trade and regulatory research to ensure compliance with FCPA and Anti-Bribery regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors and brokers to facilitate compliant import/export processes.
  • Audit and verify shipping documents and external partner documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with Legal and Tax teams to ensure compliant import/export processes and provide clearance instructions to customs brokers.
  • Troubleshoot problem shipments and ensure STO-related commercial documents are compliant.
  • Review and approve Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Airway Bills to ensure accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Enter order forms into internal systems and maintain brokerage performance reports to track shipment progress.
  • Support Tax and Customs audits with the Legal Regional Team and ensure all shipments meet client export/import regulations with Trade Compliance and 3PL teams.
  • Complete due diligence on external parties per Legal standards and monitor Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Denied Party Screenings.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as International Business or Logistics.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics with exposure to trade compliance, regulations, inventory, or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, stock management, and forecasting is required.
  • Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment and strong interpersonal and communication skills across organizational levels are essential.
