Job Description

Room 8 Studio is an international art production and game development outsourcing company that provides external services worldwide. We are proud to work with seven of ten global publishers, including Activision, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Gameloft, EA, Xbox Game Studios, and others.

We cover a wide range of high-end solutions, from mobile and console game porting to AAA game art, television, and film animation.

Job Requirements
  • Cooperation: Remote
  • Team: Animation and VFX

We are looking for a talented Realtime VFX artist to join our team. If you are a professional who possesses both artistic and technical skills and is eager to work on cool and interesting projects, then we are looking for you.

This is a contract-based position.

Key Skills
  • Experience in creating bright, dynamic visual effects in UE4 or Unity;
  • Good knowledge of Autodesk package;
  • Solid skills in modelling, UV-mapping and animation in 3Ds Max/ Maya/ Blender, etc.;
  • Good understanding of the composition basics, sense of movement and harmony of color.
Preferred Skills
  • Work experience in Houdini, Unreal Engine, Fume FX, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and create original particle systems for Unity 3D / Unreal Engine;
  • Model objects for effects, involving 3D artists for very complex models;
  • Create drawn and procedural textures for effects in Photoshop, Substance Designer;
  • Work in close cooperation with other artists to deliver the best results.
