Logistics Technology Expert

This role focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions to support logistics processes for the Americas Region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Understand business processes and identify areas of improvement and challenges.
  • Translate them into technical requirements and support delivery using agile methodologies.
  • Provide technical recommendations, detail requirements, perform hands-on configuration, testing, monitoring, and support of logistics technology.
  • Define priorities based on business value and collaborate with different teams.

The Logistics Technology Expert is responsible for IT support for business enquiries, ensuring tickets are treated under the correct SLA or dispatched to expert teams.

About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree within a Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering IT logistics technologies, including SAP MM, IM, IDOC, 3PL EDI Integration and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience in working for factories and supply chain teams, understanding the sense of urgency.
  • Experience with Manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Experience working with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and integrating them (WMS) to SAP.
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, database, network) is desired.
  • Experience with CPG and working agile are desired.
  • Fluent in English/ Portuguese (Spanish is a plus).
  • Solid communication, influencing, collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Organized, focused and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
