This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience for yard management activities in your region.
You will lead a team of operations managers within your regional cluster, driving a performance culture and creating a high-performing team through ownership and instillation of core values.
- Manage a group of operations managers within regional cluster.
- Drive a performance culture, instill ownership and create a high-performing team.
- Lead projects and initiatives to drive improvements on cost and speed.
As the main point of contact for transportation inside facilities, you will negotiate new project entrances and resolve issues affecting business sites. You will also establish and own performance metrics, communicate them to leadership, and ensure standardization of processes across shifts and sites within the network.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree;
- Employee and performance management experience;
- Ability to use data and anecdotes to solve root cause;
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement;
- Fluent language skills and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English;
- Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques;
- Experience working in another logistics environment;
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and SQL;
