The Legal Counsel plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's legal affairs, working closely with the legal team to provide expert advice and guidance on various matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing legal advice and support on regulatory issues, including ANP regulations;
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering legal documents, such as commercial contracts;
- Liaising with external counsel and specialists;
- Analyzing and identifying legal risks and implications;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Brazilian laws, particularly Petroleum Laws and ANP regulations. Excellent communication and business skills are also essential, as well as fluency in English.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal counsel in the business environment, preferably in the O&G industry (upstream);
- A degree in law from a recognized university;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian laws, including Petroleum Laws and ANP regulations;
