Job Description

The Lenovo Logistics Professional role is a critical member of the Lenovo Brazil ISG Services & Reverse Operation team.

We are currently transitioning our service parts network from a third-party logistics provider to in-house management, allowing us to closely manage our business and customer experience, and bring opportunities to re-invent and optimize our processes and policies.

The Lenovo Brazil Logistics Professional role is responsible for managing physical operations, including working with local logistics providers, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and defective parts through forward and reverse operations throughout the country.

Domestic and International Logistics knowledge and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and managing the performance of logistics providers to ensure they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for both international and domestic operations, forward and reverse logistics.
  • Leading the setup and ramp-up of Brazil Reverse operations.
  • Monitoring system discrepancies and error messages for movements and taking action to correct discrepancies.
  • Daily follow-up for non-returns, ensuring a return-to-purchase order (PoU) rate of >90%.
  • Monitoring and managing the performance of repair vendors to ensure timely and accurate repair turnaround times (TAT) and yield.

Providing resolutions to logistics providers for part disposition within daily operations.

Communicating directly with vendors to resolve delays in return merchandise authorization (RMA) submission, out-of-box (OOB) parts, and part delivery to original design manufacturers (ODMs) and logistics providers.

Managing vendor credit note processing and booking through the finance team.

Providing customer service and parts flow reporting, tracking, and updates to internal customers.

Managing good and defective inbound follow-up and resolution.

Processing and analyzing work-in-progress (WIP) data.

Validating and approving out-of-warranty (OOW) and customer-initiated damage (CID) repair billing for payment.

Daily and weekly interlocks with the logistics team and management to present and review operations scorecards.

Working with logistics providers to ensure vendor accuracy for repair and credit.

Working on system implementation, process alignment, and reverse parts workflow from end-to-end.

Providing support for new logistics-related projects.

Responsible for overall execution of scrap process and follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain reverse operations or related positions.
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in Portuguese, and advanced English speaking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment.
  • Detail-oriented.
