Job Title:

Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive approaches to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on a greenfield instance.
  • Create solutions to back office / accounting / operations / finance requirements.
  • Manage methodology and best practice for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.
  • Evaluate and manage supporting documents.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the project.
  • Submit status reports to stakeholders; coordinate and provide updates.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables.
Required Skills:
  • 2+ years experience in Capital Markets and Calypso projects.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Deep knowledge of financial products cross assets.
  • Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso.
  • Experience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology.
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of project life cycles.
  • Ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to gather business requirements.
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment.
  • Spanish language proficiency (mandatory).
