About the Role
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals to further develop our organization's data science capabilities.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers for our claims fraud detection product.

This is a strategic role that requires both leadership expertise and technical acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scale solution deployment and maintenance, overseeing a team of data scientists.
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of data scientists to work on fraud detection models.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, present results, and ensure model performance meets expectations.
  • Work closely with other data science leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and scaling.
  • Support sales and value engineering teams, presenting product demos to prospects.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in two languages, including English and Portuguese.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manager or team lead of a data science/analytics team, managing at least 7 direct reports.
  • 3+ years of experience as an individual contributor in data science/analytics or software engineering fields.
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong client-facing abilities.
