Lead a Team of Data Analytics Experts

Syngenta is a global leader in agricultural innovation.

As a Data Analytics Lead, you will build and lead a team to support successful data-driven product development.

  • Drive the use of advanced data analytics and predictive modelling in Crop Protection Development.
  • Contribute to strategic developments in Product Biology with a focus on Digital across different product lines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working in multidisciplinary project teams to bring data analytics and modelling skills to development and optimization of crop protection product candidates.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to champion Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Interacting with domain experts to understand scientific problems and identify opportunities for model adoption.
  • Providing expertise and guidance to scientists in the design of experiments and field trials for modelling purposes.
  • Driving strategic business initiatives across Crop Protection R&D.

Required qualifications include:

  • A strong academic foundation in statistics and predictive modelling.
  • Knowledge of relevant data-science, analytics, and modelling tooling (e.g., Python, R).
  • Scientific domain knowledge in agronomy, biology, chemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience in developing models relevant to biological or crop protection outcomes.
  • Experience in working independently and collaborating with colleagues to solve complex problems.
