Decarbonization Expert Role

As a Decarbonization Expert, you will support the implementation of our global sustainability goals by working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Your main responsibility will be to develop and lead data analysis to drive Scope 3 emissions reduction and create compelling insights for internal and external reporting.

Job Description:

The role can be located in various locations across the globe. You will work closely with our Procurement team and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on our global sustainability goals.

  • Support the scope expansion of the supplier engagement program and its impacts on emission reduction.
  • Understand the Scope 3 emissions accounting methodology and approach.
  • Develop and lead data analysis to create actionable Scope 3 decarbonization roadmaps for internal and external reporting.
  • Validate product carbon footprints from suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • University degree in engineering, supply chain management, sustainability or Master's preferred.
  • Experience in decarbonization programs, with special focus on life cycle assessment, product carbon footprints and Scope 3 emissions accounting.
  • Proven experience with Supplier Communication & Engagement.
  • Passion to drive climate change mitigation activities.
