Supply Chain Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain planning and forecasting process, ensuring a structured planning process and tools are in place to improve quality and alignment of all SC plans. This includes managing various Supply Chain calls/meetings, organizing, inviting, minute-taking, and action plan tracking. You will also actively participate in Supply Chain development aligned with Nutreco standards.
Purchasing and LogisticsYou will manage the purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost. Additionally, you will oversee logistic activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.
Capacity Planning and KPIsYou will manage the long-term capacity planning of raw material supply based on analysis of sales and raw material forecasting in close cooperation with Commercial, Purchasing, and Operations management. This will support the long-term business planning. You will also maintain relevant KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF, and stock levels (working capital), including supplier (RMP and 3rd party manufacturing) performance evaluation methods.
Leadership and DevelopmentYou will provide leadership, setting individual objectives, reviewing performance, and providing ongoing feedback on a formal and informal basis. You will also manage the development and performance of planners through a culture of coaching, skills development, and increased accountability.
Continuous Improvement and ProjectsYou will identify, benchmark, and implement Supply Chain best practices. You will initiate and implement operational improvements through the development of control systems within all teams. You will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of all Supply Chain activities to ensure a responsive, robust response to customer demand. You will also initiate root cause analysis and sustainable problem-solving.
Quality and HSE ComplianceYou will assure that all activities and operations are executed in line with HSE/Quality rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness thereof. You will address anomalies to others and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
