As a Commercial Carrier Optimization Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and performance across our carrier network. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with carriers and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze network losses and develop data-driven improvement plans to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
  • Coordinate return processes for Fulfillment Centers and Sellers to ensure seamless execution and minimize disruptions.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to inform business decisions and optimize network performance.
  • Identify opportunities for network efficiency improvements through data analysis and implement changes to drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards using SQL and other analytical tools to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Carrier Managers to implement improvement initiatives and align on objectives.
  • Partner with Network Losses and S&OP teams to drive alignment and optimize network performance.
  • Contribute to process innovation to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.

A Day in the Life:

  • Review daily performance dashboards to track key metrics, including DNR rates, network losses, and return accuracy.
  • Participate in daily dive deep meetings with the Carrier Management team to address operational issues and drive resolution.
  • Check critical escalations from previous days to ensure timely resolution and minimize disruption.
  • Lead weekly carrier performance review meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Update and distribute weekly performance scorecards to inform business decisions and drive optimization.
  • Deep dive into DNR cases and loss patterns to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Meet with the Network Loss Prevention team to review trends and collaborate on solutions.
  • Update SOPs based on recent learnings to drive continuous improvement and best practices.

Success Metrics To Track:

  • DNR rates by carrier and region.
  • Network loss metrics.
  • Returns efficiency metrics.
  • Amount of concessions and losses.
