Job Title: Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the emissary of the architecture and technical owner from design to resolution of tailored solutions to sophisticated problems on cloud platforms based on client requirements and other constraints.
  2. Partners with stakeholders to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements, as well as business goals, for a set of scenarios.
  3. Assess and plan for new technology insertion and manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture.
  4. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and architectural artifacts.
  5. Active leader in the Architecture Practice community, mentoring Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
  6. Design and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions with a focus on Service Cloud.
  7. Lead technical delivery and drive best practices across Apex, Flows, LWC, and integrations.
  8. Collaborate with admins, product managers, and BAs to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  9. Support CI/CD process (GitHub, Jenkins) and maintain development standards.
  10. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.
  11. Ensure integration and data flows with third-party platforms such as Zuora and Adobe.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience/expertise working as a Salesforce Senior Developer/Solution Architect with proficiency in specified technologies.
  • Strong Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and API integration skills.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, permissions, and platform limitations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling - GitHub + Jenkins.
  • Experience designing scalable architecture and optimizing performance.
  • High level of English proficiency required to interact with a globally-based development team.
  • Ability to articulate the details of designed architecture using appropriate technical language.
  • Natural leader with critical reasoning and good decision-making skills.
  • Have extremely good knowledge on SDLC processes and familiarity with actionable metrics and KPIs.
  • Operational excellence in design methodologies and architectural patterns across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to work on multiple parallel projects and utilize time management skills and multitasking capabilities.
  • Experience leading Agile software development methodologies.
  • High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Demonstrate mentorship and thought leadership to engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.

Additional Experience Desired:

  • Experience with subscription billing platforms such as Zuora.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Dev I/II, App Builder, and Architect certs.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Broader tech stack awareness is a bonus but not required.
