Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned technical leader to oversee a solutions architecture team dedicated to empowering Brazil's Public Sector Government clients through AWS technologies.


In this pivotal role, you will recruit and nurture some of the industry's most talented cloud-based solutions architects, guiding them on best practices for cloud adoption while enhancing their technical expertise and communication skills.


Your collaboration with various AWS teams, including account management, service divisions, marketing, and professional services, will be essential in prioritizing initiatives and aligning objectives for long-term value.


Your team will be instrumental in developing and executing a strategy that promotes the widespread use of AWS services within the Brazilian Government.


Engaging directly with customers will allow you to gain insights into their needs, enabling you to align the appropriate resources and tools to enhance their success.


You will be responsible for measuring outcomes and delivering results while keeping pace with the rapid innovation of AWS technologies and their applications.


It is crucial for you to possess technical credibility to effectively shape the customer-focused initiatives of your team.


This role will allow you to leverage your creativity in connecting technology with practical solutions, educating customers about the possibilities that AWS offers.


Supporting Solutions Architects in developing cutting-edge reference architectures for diverse use cases will be central to your responsibilities.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building, managing, and developing high-performing teams of senior and early-career engineers, technical consultants, solutions architects, or equivalent technical professionals.


Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred, along with a solid understanding of the AWS platform, although strong management skills and a robust technical foundation in secure, scalable, and reliable IT architectures can also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously develop Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers, fostering the growth of exceptional talent.
  • Mentor Solutions Architects to conduct technical sessions, enabling them to share their expertise with customers considering or utilizing AWS.
  • Collaborate with account management teams to devise and implement a customer-centric strategy that accelerates AWS adoption.
  • Guide the creation of whitepapers, blogs, and other valuable customer-facing resources and best practices.
  • Own the technical strategy aimed at enhancing customer value and promoting the adoption of well-architected AWS solutions across Brazilian Government clients.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, partners, professional services, and support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in enterprise IT application work, including software development or DevOps engineering.
  • Experience in architecting or operating solutions on any cloud service provider, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  • Experience in developing technology solutions and advocating for comprehensive technology roadmaps that facilitate IT transformations towards cloud computing.
  • Experience in leading and nurturing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
