Job Title: Sales and Development Representative I

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Development Representative to join our team at Groupe Limagrain Holding. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for coordinating with customers, planning and executing development actions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:Sales Aspects:
  1. Customer Coordination: Coordinate with customers within designated areas to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  2. Development Planning: Plan and execute development actions for new species, including coordinating with research stations and executing trials.
  3. Regular Visits: Conduct regular visits to customers and plantation/tillage areas to monitor progress and provide support.
  4. Market Intelligence: Gather information about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  5. Product Information: Provide customers with product information, including features, benefits, and applications.
  6. Order Placement: Place orders for customers, including variety, product, unit price, shipping method, packaging, and customer contact information.
Development Aspects:
  1. Product Development: Plan and execute trials of products in development to secure products in the portfolio for years ahead.
  2. Demand Creation: Create demonstrative field plots and organize promotional events to generate interest and demand for products.
  3. Market Promotion: Participate in expos and demonstrative events to promote products and generate brand awareness.
  4. Sales Forecasting: Conduct sales forecasts on a monthly basis to secure the availability of seeds to customers.
  5. Development Planning: Create a development plan for the area, aligned with the focus crops strategy, to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  6. Inventory Management: Continuously review inventories to secure deliveries to customers and ensure product rotation.
  7. Customer Accounts: Monitor customer accounts and receivables to avoid overdue payments.
