Market Analysis Position

This is an exciting opportunity to enhance Ebury's research material as it expands into new regions across the globe, with a primary focus on Latin America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce in-depth FX market reports on a range of currencies, particularly those in Latin America, to be distributed to sales and dealing teams.
  • Assist in the production of currency forecast reports through researching macroeconomic data, central bank monetary policy, politics etc.
  • Provide live insight to front office on the developments in the FX market.
  • Support the PR effort by answering journalist questions related to the FX market.
  • Aid in the translation of market analysis content from English into Portuguese.
  • Present Ebury's in-house views and forecasts to the Brazilian sales and dealing teams.
  • Contribute to new starter training sessions.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • University degree (economics or economics-related degree preferable, but not an absolute must).
  • Fluent Portuguese speaker, with working proficiency of the English language - ability to translate material from English to Portuguese and vice versa.
  • A clear, concise and engaging writing style.
  • Keen and enthusiastic about financial markets, macroeconomics and politics, with an appetite to learn more.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Experience of producing written material to a publishable standard.
  • Previous experience of working within the financial services sector.
