Mainframe Application Development and Modernization Specialist

As a Transformation Project Manager, you will be responsible for working with customers to understand their business needs and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
The RoleIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex transformation projects, leveraging your expertise in application development and deployment best practices. You will conduct thorough needs assessments, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into functional and nonfunctional specifications. Your exceptional analytical skills and strong communication abilities will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including application architects and development staff.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
- Analyze requirements and plan design and implementation work
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in mainframe application development and modernization
- Proven experience in designing and implementing modernization strategies for mainframe applications
- Prior hands-on experience working in a Mainframe environment
- Expertise in mainframe technologies, architectures, and programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, and Java
- Strong understanding of z/OS and IBM Software Products as well as 3rd party Mainframe software
