About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled billing manager to lead our team's collections efforts. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on collecting outstanding receivables from clients.

The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for billing, collections, and processing cash receipts. They will also be responsible for recruiting and hiring accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely collections of accounts receivable.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, resolving customer billing issues and reducing delinquency rates.
  • Supervise the recruitment and hiring of accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations and identifying training needs.
  • Coordinate training programs and ensure that new staff are properly trained.
  • Resolve sales tax discrepancies and assist in uploading invoices/documents to customer portals.
  • Lead weekly meetings between the client service team and billing team.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in collections and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and reconciliations, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with 5+ years of related experience.
