We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Professional to oversee payroll operations for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for a large number of employees in compliance with Brazilian labor laws (CLT - Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho).
  • This role requires the ability to calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions accurately.
  • The successful candidate will manage vacation pay (férias), 13th salary (décimo terceiro), and FGTS calculations.
  • This position involves processing termination payments including rescisão calculations.
  • The candidate will also handle salary advances and loans when applicable.
Compliance and Reporting
  • The successful candidate must ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax obligations.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly government reports are crucial responsibilities of this role.
  • This includes:
  • GFIP (Guia de Recolhimento do FGTS e Informações à Previdência Social).
  • DIRF (Declaração do Imposto de Renda Retido na Fonte).
  • RAIS (Relação Anual de Informações Sociais).
  • CAGED reporting for hiring and terminations.
  • Maintenance of accurate records for labor inspections and audits is essential.
  • The candidate will calculate and remit social security contributions (INSS), FGTS, and income tax withholdings.
Benefits Administration
  • This role involves processing health insurance (plano de saúde), dental insurance, and life insurance deductions.
  • The candidate will manage meal vouchers (vale alimentação/refeição) and transportation vouchers (vale transporte).
  • Calculation and processing of profit-sharing (PLR) distributions are required.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with benefits providers for enrollment and changes.
System Management and Data Integrity
  • Maintenance of payroll system data accuracy and employee information updates is a critical responsibility.
  • Generation of payroll reports for management and accounting teams is an essential duty.
  • Reconciliation of payroll accounts and resolution of discrepancies is required.
  • Backup and secure payroll data in compliance with data protection regulations (LGPD) is essential.
Employee Support
  • The successful candidate will respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Providing pay stub explanations and wage statements is a key responsibility.
  • Assistance with employment verification requests is required.
  • Support for HR with compensation-related queries is essential.
Requirements
  • Experience with multi-location payroll processing is essential.
  • Knowledge of international payroll concepts is required.
  • Familiarity with LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados) compliance is necessary.
  • Experience with payroll audits and government inspections is beneficial.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in Brazil is essential.
  • Experience managing payroll for 200+ employees is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Expert knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets with complex formulas and pivot tables is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems for payroll integration is beneficial.
