Job Opportunity: Legal Manager

Career Overview:

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a seasoned Legal Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing tax and corporate litigation, as well as providing legal counsel to various departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage tax and corporate litigation portfolios effectively
  • Provide legal advice to Tax, Finance, and Accounting departments
  • Assess litigation risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Support civil, labor, and criminal litigation efforts
  • Collaborate with the Tax Department to capture tax opportunities and minimize risks
  • Lead negotiations and review agreements related to tax matters
  • Develop and implement sound policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on new laws and regulations affecting the business

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in tax, civil, and corporate law
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to solve conflicts and allocate resources effectively
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Financial/accounting knowledge an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with demonstrated initiative and integrity
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to execute tasks independently and work comfortably as part of a team
