Accounting Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare trial balances and financial statements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage spreadsheets and accounting reports, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable write-offs in the tax module of the system.
  • Record, classify, reclassify, provision, and reverse accounting entries in assigned balance sheet areas.
  • Analyze asset accounts to identify trends and optimize financial performance.
  • Process receipt write-offs as needed.
  • Review bank transactions for discrepancies and errors.
  • Organize documentation related to company accounting practices.
  • Prepare documents and perform accounting classification tasks.
  • Generate accurate accounting entries.
  • Assist in tax calculations and preparation.
  • Reconcile accounts and complete tax payment forms and requests with government agencies.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate advanced English language skills, assessed during the interview process.
  • Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or equivalent knowledge is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, completed or in progress, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the Domínio system is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Accounting BPO practices is desirable.
