As an **Accounting Clerk** with Inflection Point LLC (IP) and affiliated entities, you will work on accounting projects for IP and its clients. An ideal **Accounting Clerk **is a positive, self-driven, detail-oriented, responsive person with strong accounting and communications skills.

**This is a contractor position for IP, not an employee role at IP or one of its clients. **The Accounting Clerk will sign a contractors agreement and will be paid monthly in local currency (R$).**

**The Accounting Clerk must be able to work between 8/9am and 5/6pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday.**

**Duties / Responsibilities**
- Work on bookkeeping and reporting for IP, or its clients, in QuickBooks or its clients’ general ledger (G/L) systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, etc.).
- Support a client’s Accounting Manager/Controller with monthly close tasks as needed.
- Review, prepare, and enter AP invoices into the G/L. Enter payments into the bank, credit card processor, or other payment system.
- Prepare and reconcile various balance sheet accounts, including bank, credit card, freight, prepaid expense, fixed assets, etc.
- Create journal entries.
- Create and publish regular financial reports for IP or all its clients.
- Train new staff as needed.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

**Education, Skills & Experience: Requirements**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsin English.
- Minimum 1-year experience as an accounting clerk or 3 years’ experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with a US-based company.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
- Ability to work and deal with people at various levels and of diverse backgrounds.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and curious.
- Capable of working directly with IP clients on their financial projects as required.
- Must own a newer model computer (2019 or newer) and have reliable internet access.

**Education, Skills & Experience: Preferences**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Minimum 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with hourly timekeeping systems like Clockify.
- Experience working with a US-based company.
- Experience working on Pacific Time.
