We are looking for a responsible, trustworthy, resourceful, dynamic individual to strengthen and become part of our team as a **Accounting Clerk**. This position has a primary focus on accounts payable and is also responsible for a variety of Accounting related tasks including investigation and reconciliation of discrepancies in a timely manner. The individual selected for this role will be retained as a contractor.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Primary focus on Accounts Payable
- Accounts Payable data entry, receiving, coding and records auditing
- RMA tracking
- Inventory Control
- Vendor statement reconciliation
- Account reconciliation
- Intercompany transactions
- Conduct research and resolution of accounts payable issues
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies
- Keep up to date with tax legislation
- Maintain records as per policies
- Recommendation of corrective actions and methods to improve process and procedures within the department
- You will be handling confidential information with extreme care/privacy
- Support Accounting Supervisor and other accounting finance team members, inventory management and cost accounting
- Data entry and data management
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience, in a small to medium sized business
- Fluent English
- Postsecondary education in Accounting required
- Possess a proactive work ethic in addition to excellent communication skills and a personable, professional approach to team members
- Be coachable and willing to adapt to a fast paced environment and able to multitask
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with discretion, tact and diplomacy
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
- Working knowledge of ConnectWise is an asset

Pay: R$4,000.00 - R$5,000.00 per month
