As an Accounting Clerk with Inflection Point LLC (IP) and affiliated entities, you will work on accounting projects for IP and its clients. Ideal Candidate Positive, self‑driven, detail‑oriented, responsive person with strong accounting and communication skills. Contractor position for IP, not an employee role at IP or one of its clients. Will sign a contractors agreement and be paid monthly in local currency (R$). Must be able to work between 8/9 am and 5/6 pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday. Duties / Responsibilities Work on bookkeeping and reporting for IP or its clients in QuickBooks or the clients' general ledger systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, etc.). Support a client's Accounting Manager or Controller with monthly close tasks as needed. Review, prepare, and enter AP invoices into the general ledger. Enter payments into the bank, credit‑card processor, or other payment system. Prepare and reconcile various balance‑sheet accounts, including bank, credit‑card, freight, prepaid expense, fixed assets, etc. Create journal entries. Create and publish regular financial reports for IP or all its clients. Train new staff as needed. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Education, Skills & Experience: Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Minimum 1 year experience as an accounting clerk or 3 years experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with a U.S.‑based company. Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize as needed. Ability to work and deal with people at various levels and of diverse backgrounds. Proactive and self‑motivated. Strong organizational skills. Detail‑oriented and curious. Capable of working directly with IP clients on their financial projects as required. Must own a newer‑model computer and have reliable internet access. Education, Skills & Experience: Preferences Bachelor's degree in accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Minimum 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online. Working knowledge of SAP Business One or other ERP systems. Familiarity with hourly timekeeping systems like Clockify. Experience working with a U.S.-based company. Experience working on Pacific Time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
