We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the University's year-end Consolidated Financial Reporting, Quarterly Bank Reporting, and stand-alone reporting for certain divisions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to summarize complex financial information clearly and concisely. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and grammar.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with General Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of the financial close process.
- Lead efforts for continuous improvement over the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective internal controls over financial reporting throughout the organization.
- Prepare information used for internal and external reporting, including month-end financial results, quarterly bank reports, and consolidated financial statements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license can replace 1 year of work experience.
- Master's degree or CPA, CA, CFA, CIA, or other accounting certification.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $95,454 - $105,000, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, with access to ongoing training and career advancement paths.
