Job Overview

The role of Payroll Specialist is a critical component of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes, providing guidance and leadership to team members, and fostering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key advisor, providing expert guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  • Drive performance and foster a culture of excellence within the payroll function.
  • Review and approve payrolls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Manage and support incident management and employee query handling, collaborating with global payroll teams.
  • Ensure timely and accurate sign-off of pay runs, aligning with global payroll calendars.
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of management, facilitating collaboration and resolution of escalations.
  • Support internal and external audits, preparing accurate documentation and reports related to payroll processes and controls.
  • Lead and contribute to payroll transformation and simplification initiatives, focusing on automation and process efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading global teams and managing payroll operations.
  • Strong proficiency in English language skills.
  • Good understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements in Latam countries.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems, RPA, and platforms like ADP Global View and MS Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • High degree of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with global payroll teams.
Preferred Skills
  • MBA in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in global payroll transformation and operations.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Payroll, Compensation certification.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language.
