Job Opportunity:

As a Database Administration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within our organization.

This includes strategic and operational duties such as efficient data storage, maintaining access reliability, and protection against data loss or unauthorized access.

  • Maintain database servers
  • Implement High Availability scenarios (Active/Passive, replication)
  • Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security
  • Establish and maintain database standards
  • Manage database access permissions
  • Optimize database system performance
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
  • Troubleshoot database errors and resolve issues efficiently
  • Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
  • Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Over three years of experience in database administration, IT, database architecture, or related field
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred
  • Experience with Windows Server environments preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is valuable
  • Ability to adapt to diverse cultures
  • Willingness to travel
