Water Resource Engineer

This exciting opportunity allows you to support public utilities in managing and enhancing water resources. You will work on diverse and impactful projects in a collaborative team atmosphere focused on innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, permitting, and development of water infrastructure projects.
  • Support the development of detailed plans and specifications ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
  • Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and data collection to inform project development and ensure accuracy and completeness in project planning and implementation.
  • Provide contractor oversight to ensure quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare permit applications, technical reports, studies, and project documentation.
  • Communicate findings, calculations, design details, and recommendations to stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in civil site or water resources engineering.
  • Knowledge of site civil grading roadway design is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • AutoCAD AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS skills are preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training EIT certification or anticipated.
  • Strong communication organizational and technical writing skills.
  • Highly motivated able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
